The AASD is inviting the public to tour our schools on Wednesday, August 20, from 5:30 to 7:30 PM, to see firsthand how the community’s support of the 2022 referendum has transformed learning environments across the district.

Children can arrive at our participating sites during posted times and receive free meals for breakfast and lunch

Last week, the Appleton Area School District Board of Education proudly adopted a resolution proclaiming May 5–9, 2025, as AASD Staff Appreciation Week—a dedicated time to recognize the exceptional commitment our staff have shown to students, schools, and the broader community throughout the 2024–2025 school year

As the days grow longer and the temperatures rise, it’s tempting to ease up on school routines. Spring fever sets in, and students (and sometimes parents) may start to feel less motivated to maintain strong school attendance. However, consistent attendance remains just as important in the final months of the school year as it is at the beginning.

Our volunteers play a crucial role in facilitating the administration of exams to our AP students. There are nearly 50 slots available on multiple dates in May, during the week, between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Thank you for your support of our students!

We encourage your students to share safety concerns with a trusted adult or, when needed, use SUSO to confidentially report issues that affect their well-being. SUSO’s Resource Center operates 24/7, ensuring every report is taken seriously
